We were very excited today to be visited by a photographer from The Derbyshire Times. We are going to be in the newspaper showing everyone our new starters in the Duckling Class. They even stayed and played with us for a bit, singing and dancing to nursery rhymes!
Thank you to all parents who attended last Wednesday’s meeting. For those who couldn’t make it, you can download the powerpoint below.
In order to keep our pupils and school community safe online, and to move forward with e-safety, we have completed the 360Safe review. This is a comprehensive online review of our practice and policy on e-safety. This review will allow us to celebrate our successes and identify ways in which we can continually improve our practice to ensure our children are safe online.

We had a great few days at Butlins. We enjoyed beautiful weather and took part in loads of fun activities such as archery, laser tag, high ropes, golf, swimming and more! Here are just a few of our photos. See tapestry for all of our photos from the trip.
The Ducklings, Parrots and Puffins had a fabulous time at The Butterfly House. This term, our whole school topic is ‘Our Precious Planet’ we have been learning all about different minibeasts and their lifecycles. We handled a range of animals from a stick insect to a African snail! We had so much fun.
Take a look at the playtime fun we have been having in the sunshine. We love our new playground markings!
Thank you to all of the parents and children who attended our meeting yesterday. We were really pleased with how settled the children were in our classroom and consider it to have been a great start for the children’s transition. Please find the presentation attached below if you wanted to have another look or to check the information we gave you. There was lots to take in!
Wow! What a wonderful turn-out this morning to celebrate the end of our Spring Term and start the Easter festivities. Thank-you to everyone who was able to join us for breakfast and we were really impressed with the fantastic wakey-shakey dancing!
